Veronica anagallis-aquatica
Prostrate stems with upright tips. Plant hairless. Stems often branched many times, rooting at nodes. Leaves 1–3 in. long, oval, with pointed tips, entire, clasping stem. Flowers pale lavender, in short spikes from leaf axil. Grows in wet meadows and along streams. Introduced from Europe.
