Mountain Snowberry
Shrub with stiff stems, very fine hairs. Deciduous, opposite, green leaves 1/4–1 in. long, with pale underside, prominently veined. Flowers 1–2, hanging with leaves from axils. Flowers pink or white, bell-shaped, with wide tube and erect lobes, hairy inside and on middle section outside. Seed is small, round, white berries. Grows in open places on ridges, forests, at mid to high elevations.
