Celery-Leaf Buttercup
Erect. Stem hairless or with few hairs, may be branched. Leaves shiny green, celery-like, with 1–5 in. petioles, divided into 3 leaflets, lobed or toothed. Flowers many, with 5 small petals, large center that elongates as seed develops. Found in waste areas, muddy places, edges of lakes, ponds, along Columbia River. Native across North America and in Europe. The juice can cause blisters on skin.
