Ranunculus cymbalaria
Clusters of leaves with strawberry-like stolons. Leaf egg- to heart-shaped, sharply scalloped on outer edge. Flower stems often branching, about same length as leaves. Flowers pale yellow, with 5–12 petals. Grows in mud along streams, marshes, ponds, with either salt or fresh water, from sea level to subalpine.
