Woolly Groundsel
Erect, with single or few stems. Basal leaves on long petioles, 1–2 in. long, oval, widening toward tip, entire, gray, covered in felt-like matted hairs; leaves along woolly stems are smaller, toothed or lobed. Flower heads 6–12, on stalks, atop stems, with 8 or possibly 13 ray flowers surrounding many disk flowers. Found in rocky soils at mid to high elevations.
