Montia chamissoi
Stems more or less upright, with runners bearing pink overwintering bulblets. Leaves small, to 2 in. long, fleshy, oval, opposite, about the same size throughout. Flowers pink to white, in few loose clusters at stem tops. Sepals much shorter than petals. Grows floating or on wet sandy to loamy soils at mid- to high elevations.
