Lupinus bingenensis</em> var. <em>subsaccatus
Stem erect, leafy. Plant covered with silky hairs. Leaves with petioles 2–8 in. long, both sides greenish, with more hairs on upper side, divided, 9–15 leaflets with pointed tips. Flowers in 4–8 in. long racemes. Flower on short stalk, petals blue, upper petal somewhat hairy on back. Grows on dry slopes.
