Ivesia gordonii
Tufted perennial with blackened leaf bases. Stems ascending. Basal leaves bright green with glands, more than 20 pairs of overlapping lobes partly wrapped on stem; stem leaf single. Flower stems hold a 2–8 in. rounded cluster of 10–20 flowers at top. Flower petals small, yellow, oval, with 5 stamens and 2–4 pistils. Grows in dry rocky ridges, talus slopes, floodplains, at high elevations. In northern California, found on Mount Eddy.
