Eriogonum vimineum
Erect. Stem widely branched in top section. Basal leaves to 1 1/3 in., oval to round, coated with matted hairs, thicker on underside. Small cylinder-like base hugs stem holding small cluster of rose to white or pale yellow flowers. Common plant found in volcanic or granite sand or gravel at low to high elevations, including Steens Mountain and Siskiyou Mountains.
