Upright. Flower stems without leaves. Leaves arise from ground with long slender petioles, pinnately divided into 3 lobes, divided 2 more times into long thin segments. Flowers pendulous, with 2 large spurs pointing upward, white to pale pink, hanging from one side of stems taller than leaves. Grows in moist shaded places in woods and on gravelly banks, including Columbia River.
