Spinster's Blue-Eyed Mary
Upright plant with only a few flowers. Leaves linear to oblong, entire. Inflorescence smooth or finely haired, on 1–3 long flower stalks from axils. Flowers generally shades of lavender and purple, occasionally white. Lower middle lobe hairy, throat somewhat bent in calyx, calyx lobes pointed, edges finely toothed, longer than flower. Grows in spring-moist open areas at low elevations.
