Abronia mellifera
Mat. Stems sprawling to erect, hairless or with stemmed glands. Leaves 2–4 in. with petioles, oval to round, entire. Flowers clustered in head atop 3–6 in. stalk. Flowers many, fragrant, white to greenish; 3/4 in. long tube of 5 fused petals opens flat, each flower 1/4–1/2 in. across. Grows in sandy soils at 200–5000 ft.
